Free will is the most precious gift that God has given his creatures. Free will is human beings’ highest good: freedom of thought and action, as well as freedom in matters of faith. How, then, did it ever come to be that believers were subjected to force and coercion in the Christian church? In this issue of The Spiritual World spirit-teacher Joseph explains how these repressive epochs came about and how, in the course of time, an increasing level of freedom was secured. Joseph also discusses today’s age of indifference, revealing that it will pass and give way to a time in which Christians will start seeking the truth.
