People seek happiness and contentment in various ways. Not everyone is able to hear the sacred call of the soul and find the path to true happiness. In the first lecture in this issue of The Spiritual World, spirit-teacher Lene explains the difference between true happiness, which is also to be found in heaven, and earthly addictions and passions, which give the seeker merely a fleeting state of happiness and can even burden them.

This issue also reveals that, as a creature of God, every human being has a tiny spark of God within themselves. Whoever manages to open the gate to their inner treasury finds not only the talents and virtues contained within it – and thus true happiness and inner peace – but also a longing to do good, to help the weak, and to share their happiness with others.
