The angels of heaven are organized into choirs, and all are great masters in a particular field. God has given his creatures various talents and abilities, and they fulfill tasks that correspond to their natures and skills. The first lecture in this issue of The Spiritual World sheds light on six choirs of heaven: spirit-teacher Lene speaks about the activities of the cherubim, the seraphim, the principalities, the dominions of the Lord, the archangels, and the angels who stand in service to human beings. In the second part of this issue, spirit-teacher Joseph gives insight into the organization of the “house of Linus”. This large spiritual community also includes spirits of God whose task is to establish the true church of God on earth. The final lecture describes a visit to the angels of punishment. It reveals how these mighty, exalted spirits of God work hand in hand with representatives of other angelic choirs – including, for example, with angels of love and of grace.
